Dear Clients:

Attached is the National Workers’ Compensation Defense Network’s (NWCDN) 2010 Summer Conference Brochure.  We invite all of our most trusted workers’ compensation clients to consider attending this two-day free conference, hosted semi-annually by the NWCDN.

The Seminar will begin on June 16, 2010, with a cocktail reception at the fabulous Café Pinot, located in Los Angeles’ spectacular downtown at the magnificent main branch of the Los Angeles County Public Library, recently restored to its beautific opulence.

The following day, the NWCDN seminar will be launched and hosted by the prestigious AV-rated member firms of the NWCDN, with all of their clients and contacts invited to attend the free Seminar.

In attendance at this auspicious event will be all of the host and member firms of the NWDCN, accessible for viewing, contact, and referral purposes, through the NWCDN’s website:

  • www.nwcdn.com/AllMainPages/June2010NWCDNa.pdf.

As the attached NWCDN brochure indicates, the Seminar will then be conducted on June 17, 2010, with the following topics presented and debated by the NWCDN and all attendees, including:

  • Where is the Beef?  Obesity and Workers’ Compensation;
  • Perils of Narcotics-Pain Management or Abuse;
  • The Not So Exclusive Remedy Rule, Attacks on ERR by RICO and ADA;
  • “Do You Swear to Tell the Truth?”; and,
  • When the Whip Comes Down.

To follow the June 17, 2010 free seminar, there will be a cocktail reception hosted by the NWCDN at the Los Angeles Athletic Club, featured so often in move and television production, that is often referred to as Lollywood.

The welcoming cocktail reception is hosted from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and is free to all attendees.

The NWCDN has graciously agreed to secure continuing education credits for this transformational seminar, hosted by several member NWCDN firms.
